Start Date/Time: Tuesday, September 17, 2019 8:30 AM

End Date/Time: Wednesday, September 18, 2019 4:30 PM

Description: This three-day, advanced training program  helps facilitate a deeper understanding of  Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® program content  as it brings Certified Instructors from prevention  through Postvention. The program incorporates  a variety of autism-specific skills, such as Positive  Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS),
functional behavioral assessment, and support for  individuals with self-injurious behavior.  The training gives Certified Instructors the skills  to see crises through the eyes of individuals with  autism spectrum disorders and the confidence  to share these skills with other staff members  immediately. If Certified Instructors support
people with autism spectrum disorders or related  communication disabilities, or train staff who do, they will find this course to be a valuable learning  opportunity.   This training is available only to Nonviolent Crisis  Intervention® Certified Instructors.  For more information, please feel free to contact: Jacob Seflow Texas Training Coordinator 414.410.1603 Location: Doubletree San Antonio, downtown, To Register: This is a three-day program.
